Ooh, thanks for the TV-show recs. ;) I hate not having something girly-fun to watch with lunch anymore... it's boring. i will have to check out Privileged.
okay these are the books ive checked out for the summer
valley of the dolls the virgin suicides rules of attraction lolita the catcher in the rye (again) but yeah atm im reading the virgin suicides and i just want to get thru it-because its a pretty thicke topic-despite the name i thought it was gonna be different and im a lil squeamish so this may not get finished easily so ask if you need any authors im too lazy to get outta bed on this rainy day and check haha xxkelsey
I LOVE to read and I really appreciate a good book. Here's a few of my favorites: Nabokov's Lolita Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises Chopin's The Awakening Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby
we're almost done with 'To kill a mockingbird' in my class, and we watched the movie. (i'm not recommending it though) lol ;]
i don't know what you're into much, but i'm reading 'Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong' this summer. 'Valley of the Dolls' will also be on my summer.
PS; if you havent read these..
* Go Ask Alice * Coraline * Diary of Margaret Ann Brady (a Titanic story) * Out of the Dust
Great Gatsby was good, i love the movie as well The Bitch Posse (sounds like a trashy book- not at all its my favorite) The Bell Jar Kite Runner The Beautiful and Damned
Same here. This year I've mostly read celebs biography , or history of something related to music and stuff like that, and i gotta say, it's really interesting! I'm still digging new books about bands and models and etc..:)
